So, I'm enjoying getting to know the HDS units in my fathers rig and am in the process and looking forward to switching my rig over. His rig is set up with an HDS 10 and an 8 in the back of the boat and a 7 up front. All tied together via the LSS1 box with the regular sonar transducer feeding into the 10 and then out to the 8 and 7 through the LSS1. 10 is set on source from "this unit" and the other to get it from the 10.
Odd part is that at times the source ends up switching on the units for some reason or another which in turn screws things up. It's really not a big deal now that one knows what to look for first but I'm just curious as to why this may be happening. Thought maybe it was something to do with getting the right ethernet cord (shouldn't in my mind) so marked them. Then figured maybe one shoudl make sure and start up the 10 first. Still wants to do it once in a while. Anyone else??

We have bought a new boat, which we will be picking up this spring. It is an Alumacraft Competitor 165 sport with a 90 horse Yamaha
motor. I will be buying and installing a trolling motor, wondering if I can get some recommendations on what pound thrust I will
want for this boat? Also, I will be selling my old boat, is there a good way to determine the value on an older boat ( mid-80's with a 75 horse 2-stroke
Mariner motor) I will appreciate any help with these questions.
I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout.
Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
