I have had the opportunity to use an equalizer climber and liked it. However it was the first climber I have ever used. I Have been looking at the Treewalker stands as well but don't know anyone with a Treewalker to try out. Can anyone give some pros and cons for either.

Chubby Minnow, which TW did you purchase. I was looking at the XL I think it was where the shooting rail is able to move for rifle or bow hunting. It looks pretty solid. Is the mesh seat comfortable? How hard is it slide the mesh so that you can sit either facing the tree or with your back to the tree?

Have not sat long or hunted out of it yet. The mesh is fairly comfy but I purchased the lounger to go with the stand. (the padded seat and backrest) for the all day sits. Mesh slides just fine. What I like is when I go to stand up, the mesh pushes toward the tree with my leg so when I get ready to WHACK EM, I can stand with my back directly against the tree.

I purchased the promag xl today and can't wait. I have friends that have had their climbers for 15-20 years. I hope I can end up saying the same for this one. Thanks for the information.
