Dan,it's been about a week since your initial post.Just wondering how and where your journey took you?c63

So far Chris... My journey has gone nowhere. Life got in the way recently and this week is my Dad's birthday. I will NOT miss that under any circumstances.

I'm going to try and get out locally to satisfy my "jones" for the time being. Hopefully, I can find my providence before too long. I'll keep you posted my friend.

Can't go wrong with either for a place to stay or great fishing information on the bite.

Funny you should mention The Falls Motel. It used to be me and my Father's "stop in the middle" heading to Canada on our annual trip.

One time, years ago, while at The Falls, we had a knock on the door. Turned out to be a guy looking for the owner of the blue Lund. My boat. Seems he took the entrance turn a bit too tight and clipped my right turn signal on my trailer. No damage to the boat, but I needed to repair the trailer before heading north the next morning. As it turned out, the "owner" just happened to have a spare housing back in a shed behind the motel. Between him, me and the guy who hit my trailer, I was road worthy in no time and even got a decent night's sleep. Kudos to The Falls Motel!!

I still feel kind of bad about that whole situation. I really came down hard on the guy that hit my trailer. Looking back, I did over react quite a bit. Sure I was justifably tee'd off but I think I took it to an extreme. I wish I could find that guy again to talk about it over a cold one... or two. I never did actually thank him for his help.

I think that was the first time my Dad ever heard me swear. Sorry Dad.

Great post Dan. I too have regrets from younger years blunders. One benefit of maturing is seeing life through better glasses.
