Hunter's Base Stealing

Has anyone ever seen a guy get jumps on pitchers like Hunter has the past few weeks? I've seen him steal second base at least three times going in standing up. At first I thought it was a fluke, or the pitcher didn't look over, or whatever. But, he is doing the same thing with a lot of different guys. Today was too much when he took off against Sabathia--who is a lefty! You'd think by now the advance scouts would tip their guys off.

Exactly, I made comments on his base stealing before. I can't recall ever seeing anyone stealing with so much room to spare. Makes you wonder why on one else can do that. Incredible.

It makes you wonder what clicked with him. He was a decent stealer before, but lately & I know this a big stretch, but you'd think it was Ricky Henderson. He just pretty much gets on base & takes it.

Well, he finally got nailed last night against a rookie pitcher in his first major league game.
