Exterior Color Scheme?

Alright guys need a few opinions on some colors that look nice on my revamped perm. I'm going to be painting and leaning toward dark green with painted white 1x4's on the corners and around the windows and door for a little extra look. What colors do you all think look nice?

A guy up here used a transparency of his favorite beer case and projected it onto his shack, he then outlined it and painted it to match.

Dark colors will heat up more from the sun and cause your snow banking to melt faster, you will need to rebank more than if it was a light color. My shack is white with red trim and I have to do less rebanking than my buddy with his brown house. Just a thought.

If you plan on putting it on a lake with a lot of other perms, you should probably try to make it somewhat unique so it's not so difficult to find. My perm goes on Clear Lake in Waseca with about 10 million other houses*. It's white and even though I know exactly where I put it, I still have trouble finding it amidst the sea of fish houses sometimes.

*I do my real fishing out of a portable. The perm is just a place where the brothers and I can get together and hang out.
