15 hp evinrude dies on acceleration?

hi 1978 evinrude 15 hp carbs were rebuilt 2 months ago when i got it. fresh non oxy gas, bulb is new and hard i also use a inline fuel filter. over the weekend when i put it in gear and went to accel it died started right up again same thing after that ran great next day starts right up same thing then later in the day does same thing. i tried to pull the choke out when it did it it reveed up then died . it also has a new fuel pump when the carbs were done never had this issue any thoughts
