Help Needed

Recommended Posts

My father in Law passed away and my wifes Mother found a 30 year old super 8 mm film that he never had developed from a canada fishing trip. It is in the original box and has not been exposed to heat or sunlight. It would thrill her soul and warm my heart if there was a way to get this super 8 film developed and surprise her with it... Any professional help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure where you are at. I know a place near to me, but that's not going to help if you're at the far end of the state from me. I'm sure there should be something close to you, especially if you are near the Cities.

Huck, I see based on your township you are near the Twin Cities. I quickly Googled "developing old 8mm film minnesota" and came up with several possibilities.

Sorry I can't give you a recommendation based on experience. Condolences on the loss of your father in law. Looks like that old film could be a treasure. smile

Great handle, by the way.

I agree you should have it processed and there is always a chance it will provide some wonderful moments for the family. But please don't get too excited about what you are going to get back.

But I'm hoping you find a treasure.
