Walleye Pro-Am tournaments

I am curious on how I can become an amateur on some walleye tourneys. I think I can learn a lt this way. any help? has anyone been involved in one of these? which tourney would you recommend?

There are a few pro-ams out there to choose from these days. PWT, RCL, or RCL League.

The PWT and RCL are very large with some big payouts, but as an amature you will pay around $600 entry fee. Each have their pro's and cons. The PWT guarentees that you'll fish for 3 days. The RCL you might go home after 2 or you might fish 4 (depending on how your pro's do).

The RCL league is a one day event. It only costs $75 bucks for the amature.

I recommend surfing the web a bit to learn more about your options. Where the tourneys are held etc..
