Looking for new water foul gun. I currently shoot a Stoeger M2000 and am wanting to upgrade. Any one shot or use this gun for geese? I see this is gas-operated any one had problems with cleaning or chambering of shell?

WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE STOEGER? MY SON WAS KIND OF LOOKING AT 1 VS A BENELLI MAINLY FOR $ REASONS. I SHOOT A M2 BENELLI & LOVE IT BUT $. IT WILL SHOOT ALL KINDS OF SHELLS GOOD TO CHEAP W/NO PROBLEM.

MY SON IS DEADLY WITH A FABARM PUMP 12 GA. GOOD LUCK FINDING WHAT FITS YOU.

I love that stoeger. Havent had any problems with it at all. Just with a gun like that needs to be broke in. I spent bout 4 hours just pulling the bolt back and letting it slam forward so that every part gets broke in. I have shot every thing from 3in steel, turkey loads all the way down to 2 3/4in 8 shot with no promblems at all. Just like any auto loader, keep it clean and you will be happy. Thats the reason i bought the M2000 over a benelli is price.

I have had a Browning Silver for about four or five years. I use it for ducks for the most part but I have taken a few geese with it. I do not clean my guns nearly as much as I should. This gun has been totally reliable for me. I like the way it fits me and I like the way it kills. I would recommend this gun to someone looking for a new gun if they like Brownings but a Belgium made A5 will always be my favorite gun. The Silver reminds me a lot of the first gun my father got me when I was a kid - a 20 gauge B2000 which I want to be my kids’ first gun when they start hunting.
