Red/green bow light

For some reason my red/green bow light (navigation) light won't work. There is another little white light that is part of the red/green light that works but the red/green will not work.

Any idea why this would be?

Need a new switch maybe?

Even bought a brand new bow light, no go.(white light works though)

I'm guessing your new red/green w/white lite is a three prong light. Check your female end to be sure it has 3 prongs. I just bought a new red/green w/white light...The white light works, and i realized it is because my old female base only has two prongs...Gotta upgrade.

Use a volt meter to verify your light base is working properly also if the above is not your problem.

Also check to see that you didn't break any of the posts off. This can be easily done if they get corroded and your not careful about pulling the light out of the socket.
