Grand Marais 4th of July

Friday night we got several inches of rain which made the local streams raging for the most part Saturday and Sunday. Luckily the local lakes including Devil Track Lake were good to us. Then Monday the creeks were still high and swift however clear enough for the brookies to bite. Local lakes were insanely thick with rainbows and tubby smallmouth bass. The bows would bite dang near every cast. Walleye fishing not so hot however we only put in a couple of hours Saturday evening after dinner. I got two little guys, only one worth eating. I did not have flour so I used crushed up Cheetos which worked out quite well!

Here are the fish shots. Tons of other great photos of other events to come.
