line setups

I plan on doin some walleye trolling on superior. How much and what kind of line do some of you use for this. I will just be useing boards and long lineing with maybe some weights. What type of backing for superlines, leaders on superlines etc. Also, will my offshore planer boards work alright on the big lake because I have had some people say that they might not. Thanks alot.

10 - 15 mono or a equal superline. Yellow birds work well for bords and also dipsys. Eyes will be suspended but lately have been caught in 90' of water with lakers on south shore. Some on spoons and some on bombers etc.
