Just a few pics of some fish caught on Sunday. Am I right that the blue one is a female and the others are males? They sure are pretty this time of year, just wanted to share.

The blue one is a female and the other two are males. Nice fish!!

You can really tell by the size of blue ear tab. The females are smaller than the males.

The 2nd pic is a nice mature male with some possibilities of being a real pig in the future. The 3rd pic is a cuckholder or also called a sneaker. This fish is a smaller male that should be kept for the pan.

Nice lookin gills! Spawn started about two weeks ago down here... But after that 100F+ weather we had.. it dropped down to 50/40s over nights and seemed to push a lot of the gills back into slightly deeper water here.. Also the carp spawn seemed to get them out of the shallows as well.. My best success has been at dusk since then... They need to move back in so I can pound them on poppers!
