I have(had) an AVS 70 MLM Fenwick Techna Av coupled with a Shimano Stradic and loaded with 6# P-Line. Its been my go to rod for years for walleye and panfish. Today I was out jigging for eyes, I set the hook and it snapped completely off at the first rod guide. I couldn't believe it. It just about made me cry. This has been the best, most sensative, lightest, best balanced rod I've ever owned. 90% of the time I fish with this rod. I know it has a lifetime warranty but I looked at their web site and they no longer make it. Not to mention I bought it several years ago and no longer have the reciept for it, however I do have the original wrapper it came with that has the warranty info on it. Do you think I stand a chance at any kind of a warranty? Which rod would be a good replacement for it? I mostly jig for eyes but also used it for pulling smaller cranks and livebait rigging. I'm open to any suggestions.

We have bought a new boat, which we will be picking up this spring. It is an Alumacraft Competitor 165 sport with a 90 horse Yamaha
motor. I will be buying and installing a trolling motor, wondering if I can get some recommendations on what pound thrust I will
want for this boat? Also, I will be selling my old boat, is there a good way to determine the value on an older boat ( mid-80's with a 75 horse 2-stroke
Mariner motor) I will appreciate any help with these questions.
I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout.
Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
