Spring Fishing

I have Spring Break coming up the last week in March and am looking for some soft water walleyes. I know that I could probably go down to Red Wing and fish the river but I was wondering if anyone knew of a midwest state that a person could fish. Any guide service, etc. I contacted someone about Oahe in SD already and he suggested later in the spring. So I'm just looking for some suggestions and maybe a contact or two. Thanks

This is just a guess (because I don't know) but maybe Missouri would have something worth checking out. I would be curious what you do find out.
