I just purchased a new GPS (Garmin Oregon 450T) Just wondering what you guys think the best lake chip on the market is. I know of LakeMaster. Garmin also puts out Blue chart g2. Anyone have experience with that one?? Thanks

For what region in particular, and is it primarily for use for fishing, or will it also be for hunting and/or camping?

For lakes topography in high detail in MN, Lakeaster/Garmin MN is the best, then Garmin Inland Lakes North if you wish a wider coverage by region.

If you wish a data card for Hunting, Camping, Fishing, Trails, and much more, then the MNTRAX, NDTRAX or the new WESTTRAX is your best option. TRAX data is a very good add on latter, especially if you hunt.

MNTRAX is fair to good on lakes. LakeMaster Garmin has better coverage for many of the lesser known lakes, and often in higher detail on the major waters....plus it will offer a few more Marine Mapping whistles and bells exclusive to Garmin. If you have specific lakes in mind you can contact TRAX and ask about the detail levels and whatever, Korey will be more than happy to give you an honest recommendation on what is best for your particular needs.

MNTRAX excels in all other outdoors use categories for mapping. Especially with a Garmin GPS unit like your 450T. For the hunter the MNTRAX or the new WESTTRAX card or CD is a must.
