Lund Alaskan comps

Hi there,

I am looking at purchasing a 18 ft lund alaskan. Does anyone have other suggestions besides the alaskan? That is, do other boat companies have a comparable boat to the alaskan? (Anyone have a used alaskan they want to sell?)

All of the aluminum boat makers will have there own version of the Alaskan.

Used Alaskans are very hard to find and when they do come on the market they won't be for sale very long. I hunted for one for 3 yrs before I found the right boat, my advice is to look/shop almost everyday and expand the area that you are looking in. There are more used ones around the eastern great lakes and on the coasts. You will pay a premuim price for one in the midwest which can help cover the cost of traveling to get one. Alaskans are hard to find and and cost more for a reason, they are a great boat!
