Trout lakes near Kenora?

We'll be heading up the first week of June for our annual Dogtooth trip. I realize that both Dogtooth and Kilvert have trout, but I was looking for more of a sure thing because I don't think they're too prevalent in either lake. Any lakes close by that would be worth trying? I've got a 17' Fishhawk with a 115 on it, so the lake would have to have a decent landing and road going in. Thanks in advance for any tips.

We head to dogtooth Saturday on our annual trip. There is a guy in camp every year who does pretty well on lakers in Kilvert.2 years ago with cold water we caught a couple lakers by accident every day on dogtooth. Might be a better option than you think, especially Kilvert.
