Hey Windy,

I'm coming to Chicago for the Twins/White Sox series the first weekend in July. Saturdays game we will be about 30 rows up on the third base side. We will be the 3 guys with the huge Twins World Series Flag, Circle Me Bert sign, and Twins jerseys. You should come to the game so we can debate superiorness in person grin

Geno, congrats, your turd is floating an inch higher in the toilet bowl of baseball today! Ours might get a chance to catch you today. We still lead the overall series by 2, so put that in your pie hole! LOL

JW That Twinkie World Series flag must be very valuable, I hear it was spun on the original cotton gin that Eli Whitney invented the year before the Twinkies won that thing! LOL Good luck getting out of the parking lot if the Twinks manage to win that game with those type of objects! Be careful, you will be on the Southside of Chicago, in the baddest part of town as Mr. Croce told us a few decades ago! Have fun.

I gave up on 'em long ago this season....hope you have a good trip to Cass.

Ours was phenomenal...but we go so much earlier then you...so good luck Windy.

I know you know your time of year.

But if you win again at the Casino like last year...fishing won't matter.

I do not remember reading a report from you on Cass, but when you get as old as we are you can't remember what you had for dinner the night before! LOL

How was the fishing action on your trip compared to last year? That is what I am trying to find out. If it is close to last year it will be a fantastic year because last year was tops in my book for the past two decades!

Hey JW,

I just snagged 6 tickets for the Aug 29th Monday night game against the Twinks, second row behind 1st base and down the line a bit, should get great views of the Sox dugout. I am going to take my 4 grandkids and my wife for a surprise birthday gift for her. She should get a kick out of it with the kids!

I also got her second row tix for American Idol live concert here in the Windy City. Those cost me a bit more than the baseball tix but what the heck. You can't take it with you!

the game was a blast. Very cool stadium. Horrible neighborhood. It was awesome to see my twinkies win that BIG series... It's too bad they couldn't put the stadium in a better part of town... It's alright I guess.... Bad team in a bad part of town wink kind of fitting

I put a call into Ozzie before the game for you JW, I told him that you were coming and to protect a fellow FM'er, I asked him if my beloved Pale Hose could only muster up enough effort to win one game this series to make sure it was Saturdays so you would be safe. That is just the kind of guy I am. Glad you were able to see another White Sox WIN!

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
