Warblers were everwhere this morning, but my eye caught this Bluegray Gnatcatcher and while trying to focus a Nashville Warbler came in too.

Mike, Warblers like to migrate up north-south rivers with woods. They fly mostly at night and feed and rest during the day. The reason most people don't see them is because they feed way high in the trees. I almost get dizzy looking up that high with my camera, plus they are constantly moving catching insects. Once you learn their habits it comes a little bit easier to watch them. Plus you'll find other insect eaters such as flycathers and gnatchatchers. Around July I have a hatch of flying ants and the Cedar Waxwings come in for the kill. It's one of my favorite bird watching events for the year. I hope any little information I can give can help everyone look a bit farther into nature!

Mike
