My side imaging went out

Bought an Humminbird SI last fall. Used it then with no hassles, used it this spring while panfishing with no problem. Put the boat in for opener.....and nothing. The fish finder, temp, and GPS works great, but I might as well be looking @ disconnected TV screen when in SI mode.

I would check into the adjustment of the ducer and how it is setup. I know when I installed my unit back in 2008 they were pretty indepth with the install of the ducer and warned of the SI not reading if it was not set to the proper degree.

Could be a ducer issue also. I also would suggest to contact Humm. Good luck!

Best way to save yourself time troubleshooting and fiddling with cable/transducer, etc is to find a buddy that has the exact same unit on his boat and put your unit in to see if the same symptoms occur. If they still occur, then problem is with your unit. If not then you most likely have a cable/transducer issue.
