Fishinguy40
Just a reminder to remove and inspect behind your props before going out for the opener. I did mine this week. When I took the prop off the trolling motor it had enough fishing line wrapped around it to spool a reel I try to remember and do this a couple times a season. I obviously forgot last year when I winterized the boat.
BoxMN
And on that note, when you reinstall the prop, get it tight. I was surprised a few years ago when I actually, finally, used a torque wrench and proper specs when putting it back on - just how tight it SHOULD be! I had not been tightening it enough for many years prior. If you can, try to use one at least once just to get a feel for how tight it should be. Good luck.
