My skeg is a little abused and needs repair or replacement..any thoughts on the skeggard kit or others that anyone has used? This is a 115 Johnson, bent and broken...thanks

They work and look better in the end after you do the repair kit. They are not difficult to install. The shiny stainless models dress up things nicely and add strength to the damaged skeg. A whole skeg is important to stabilize the motor so it should be repaired.
