Pulling a dent?

Recommended Posts

Just re-looked, there is no way to get at it square from inside due to the trunk frame on the inside.

I could possibly get one of my big c-clamps on it however; and I could cut a 1x1 board to size?

Just get some touch up paint and throw some on where the paint is cracked or missing, then leave the dent there, to remind the wife, that the mail box is still there grin

Oh trust me...I may just be hitting the dealer today for the touch up paint and leaving it as a NICE reminder. :P

Only downfall, is its a basically still new 2010, and I am really anal about my vehicles and while it may not bother her, I might always have this 'ugggggg' feeling every time I drive it or walk past it. smirk

You might find an already-painted replacement at a salvage yard. I know the car's new, but it may be a trunk lid that has fit several models/ years of cars. It might be worth making a few phone calls just to find out price and availability.

Might be a good exercise for the wife... But better thee than me on suggesting that one. wink

Yeah, I had to think about that one for a minute. I thought it was all dashboards, and I thought "Man, that's an odd specialty. Well, maybe they have some trunk lids in there too. I guess you never know." Then I realized that it was the symbol, not the car part. blush
