Well i was out fishing walleyes the other day and had an encounter with a beast of a muskie and was wondering if anyone could recommend a hot topwater or any other lure for muskies. I have fished them a little bit before and havent had any luck and was wondering if anyone had any hot baits. After that encounter i have been dreaming of catching a muskie. I would love to get into the sport of musky fishing and was looking for a little help. Thanks!!!

I landed my first musky this year on a giant jackpot. I've also had follows on anything with propellers.

I just started fishing Musky this year and what I did to start out was purchase one or two baits for every water level I want to fish. I've added a few here and there once I began to find out what was working and what was not. Good luck, and don't forget to check out the Musky/Pike forum.
