Moonlight Falls Camp

Has anyone ever been to Moonlight Falls Camp? It is on Minnitaki Lake on the Pickerel Arm. I can't seem to find any reviews of this camp. Our group of 8 is looking at booking a trip here in mid June. Thanks for any help.

I have been by it. We stay at Donneley's, which is farther east. It looks like a nice operation and I have never heard any negative comments. My only take is that even though there is good fishing in the arm, the better spots are in the southwest portions of the lake, therefore you would have a longer run to get there.

Thanks for the info,ProV. We tried to get into Donnellys, but they were full for the week of 6/18. So we kept looking in the Pickerel Arm, and found Moonlight. When are you going to be there?

We are going May 19th for 7 days. Early in the season, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. We have been there at the time before, had awful weather and fantastic fishing. You will not be disappointed in the lake. Are you bringing your own boat? Do you have GPS? Not a super must, but like any lake, it never hurts. Let me know if you have any questions on the fishery or need any other help. We were Lac Seul 'rats' for years, but decided to try Minnitaki and haven't looked back. We now go spring and fall, although this year with the gas $$, we will have to see about fall.

I know the time of year you are going is awesome. You will have a blast. Again, any questions, feel free.

Thanks again ProV! We have 3 boats, i (brand new) Lund Tyee, 1 older Lund Tyee and my 1850 Sportfish. All 3 boats have GPS, and we all have hand held units as well. Do you recomend any specific chip for the gps?

We are really pumped and ready to go!!!
