Fluorocarbon Line?

Recommended Posts

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to put a leader on for walleye fishing in the Rainy?

If it's because you use any of the braids and are worried that the fish might see it, from my experience on the Rainy it doesn't seem to make a difference

I can't add anything for advise to you on this one; I've not used it for leaders. However, I just finished tieing-up about 50 crawler harnesses for this summer's use and new to me this year will be a 15# P-Line combo flouro/copoly snell line. I'm really expecting good things from this line. Flouro to sink and the copoly for a little extra strength. We'll see if it works as advertised. I'll also be interested to see how/if the blade clevis wears on the line too. I've always been a GAMMA flouro and copoly fan, so we'll see how it goes with P-line. I have a friend that is a bass tourney guy and he is sponsored by P-line (amongst others). He says that it is good stuff. As I said,.... We'll see.
