Foxfire 4 issues.

Recommended Posts

Heads up: Word of caution if your thinking up upgrading to the new Foxfire 4 browser.

I did and ran into some serious issues with my browser and with my anti-virus software. I run Kaspersky 2011 and the password security manager system, and it buggered it up BAD...a major pain.

After going around and around with both FF SC team, and Kaspersky SC team...I found at this time the most recommended fix was to uninstall the FF-4, and reinstall FF-3.6. So I did from the File Hippo site, and now my FF 3.6 browser and other programs are working properly again. Better than before in fact.

Norton and others appear to also be having similar issues with the new FF-4, so before you do it...think twice...tell they get it figured out.

Just a heads up.
