Little Sioux near Quimby/Cherokee

The in-laws moved into a house right next to the river in Quimby. I've never fished the river in that area and am hoping someone has some info to share on that Cherokee to Washta stretch as far as decent size cats or eyes. I'd wouldn't be opposed to going for the random pike/carp either unless the numbers of em are too low to make it worth the time.

I have family down that way myself. My father, brother, and cousin have been fishing the Little Sioux on a farm they rent south of wilson's and the airport fairly hard this year. The Catfishing has been excellent and the Walleye's have been unreal. Caught a lot of waldos around 20 inches on worms with glow bobbers where creeks run into the river. I don't remember what stink bait they were using but Fire and Ice in chrokee has some really good stink bait they've been catching all the catfish with. Crawdads witht the pinchers clipped off and fathead minnows worked for the cats to. There are a few carp in the river, and my cousin Josh just caught a 12 lb one that won the derby in town this weekend. We've caught the random pike in the river also, but nothing really consistant.
