Handheld GPS batteries?

Has anyone ever tried digital camera batteries in there GPS? If they would work you would think they would last longer.

I use rechargables.Just make sure you set radio to nicad instead of alkaline.

I tell you what.. without a doubt.. the best batteries today and the best chargers (all at great prices) are at the link below. I have many AA and AAA batts and a 60 minute charger that beats all alkaline batteries in my GPS for longevity... pushing 12 hours in my Garmin Emap. I am amazed hour far NiMH batts have come.
