Just like the title says.....Whats the best fish finder for around $100. I know there are many entry level finders out there, and I'm wonder what the best bang for the buck?? I 'm not looking for anything super fancy!

Thanks in advance

I've had 2 of the cheap Eagles (Cuda something or other). The transducers on both lasted less than 2 years. I've looked at replacing the ducer, but they cost almost as much as a new setup. I've looked on the List - there are plenty of used low-end Eagle units, but very few come with ducers, so I think their ducers are cheap. Like most things, you get what you pay for.

I picked up a Lowrance X91 for $50 last spring on [Note-from-admin-Please-don't-send-folks-there] with the transducer from a guy out in SD for my bow. I have the same unit in the rear. Used you will get more bang for your buck like FM_Mike said.
