mhines
Just like the title says.....Whats the best fish finder for around $100. I know there are many entry level finders out there, and I'm wonder what the best bang for the buck?? I 'm not looking for anything super fancy! Thanks in advance
drippinwet
I have a Humminbird 150 and it cost me 80 bucks plus tax. Shows water temp, structure, depth and fish. It may not be as fancy as all the others, but it works for me.
Chode2235
I think the Humminbird Pirhanas are great units for the money. I had a portable one that I used in my caboe and it was great for the money.
FM_Mike
You might want to concider a used one. May get more bang for your buck on an older used unit. Mike
jwmiller33
Eagle makes some great high quality fishfinders for cheap. Check them out.
jdfisherman
I've had 2 of the cheap Eagles (Cuda something or other). The transducers on both lasted less than 2 years. I've looked at replacing the ducer, but they cost almost as much as a new setup. I've looked on the List - there are plenty of used low-end Eagle units, but very few come with ducers, so I think their ducers are cheap. Like most things, you get what you pay for. JosMN
I picked up a Lowrance X91 for $50 last spring on [Note-from-admin-Please-don't-send-folks-there] with the transducer from a guy out in SD for my bow. I have the same unit in the rear. Used you will get more bang for your buck like FM_Mike said.
