I have a bait live well right next to my steering console in floor of boat. It has a dime size hole towards 1 corner with "liquid) which appears to be water sitting underneath this livewell. Any idea if i need to have this hole sealed up? could there be a pump underneath for aerating water and if so why and cover with mesh to prevent minnows from going down? it is an 84 crestliner explorer, just curious if i need to do anything with it.
