kiowa
Does any know how to find out if the corp of engineers is going raise the water level any time soon. I walked out to my favorite walleye hole on Wednesday and the water was 15 to 20 feet to low. I've figured out how to check what the current level is on Rivergages.com, but I was womdering if there was a way to determine what they have planned for the immediate future. JIvers
Usually they have a forecast up on the rivergages site, but this past winter they seem to have stopped giving that option for some stations. I thought I saw a prediction for Coralville res. just a couple days ago when I checked it--as I recall the water levels, which are very low for this time of year, are projected to stay that way for a few days.EDIT AND UPDATE: Yes, the rivergages site for Coralville reservoir still has a forecast; the reservoir is expected to drop slightly from its current height of 679.3' over the next few days, and then return to that level by the end of the month.
