made 2 more gals today. snow in the buckets now for a few days

got 4 more gals over the last three days. poor year in my opinion. it might make one more run but have my doubts.

well we pulled all our taps and put the buckets away for another year, we ended up with making 54 gallons of syrup this year.

Just finished our last batch. Sixteen gallons for the year for us, a lot learned again. Going to finish my celebratory Summit and go to bed....for a long time, kids permitting.

gonna get another run when it warms up again. had 18f last 2 morns.

still dripping. 6 more barrels in the last four days. been collecting everyother day. it's been slow and need to save gas. stuff would be 50$ a pint if i just figured gas and firewood.

think that's it for me. doesn't look good weather wise and a few more warm days the buds will pop. looking at my batches stacked in pails in the sheds i'd say about 14 to 15 gals of syrup after some fine tuning.

the tree's can't win with me. if they stop i say "what the...."

when they're gushing i say "come on guys i'd like to sleep tonight"
