I bought the veritas 6'9'' medlight spinning rod matched with a diawa reel! It will be used for tubes small jigs and drop shot!

Very nice! Im heading home for spring break to Chicago and Im bringing my rods with. Not that much ice out there, and no closed season for bass!

Oh yeah, whats the deal with Chicago, IL? I was in China town last summer and walked by this fish market. They had Bass in giant fish tanks! I questioned myself, is that even legal to sell game fish in IL or raise them as pets? I'm not sure if they were selling it or it was just for display but man, poor bass.
