Plug In video players not playing so hot

You talking via your browser DC? If so what browser are you using? Might just have to clear your browser cache and delete your temp folder. Cache can be cleared when the browser is opened and then going to the menu drop down bar and looking for something like settings, tools or options. Then find cache or deleting stored data. Temp folder can be deleted by going to Run, type %temp%, in the folder right click, select all and then delete. Worse case could be an update needed with the player or Abobe Flash player, video drivers needing to be updated via device manger (right click properties, updated drivers). Video card should be ok if the tube plays good and those players worked in the past.

Start with making sure you have the latest adobe flash player for starters. Then like Shack mentioned dump all your temporary internet files. Also it could be the type of web browser you are using. I would go with the latest version of Firefox, Chrome or Opera.

Easy way to clean out not needed junk on your PC is to download and run Ccleaner.

Let us know if this improves things.

You just cannot believe how much this can help any computer run faster with less problems. Make sure to clean your registry and if there is a lot of issues run it again till it quits finding problems. Easy place to download from is FileHippo.

Unless you are running CCleaner as an administrator and adjust the local temp file/folder setting (uncheck the delete from last 48 hours to "all" option I think) in the advanced settings menu, running CCleaner for a concern like this will not help. You need to delete all your local temp files or any if you know the dedicated file location for the application you can pick them off. Just easier to run>%temp%>Right click delete and reboot. Just make sure you have saved any work in progress or have rebooted since you have installed or updated any programs before you delete the temp folder. Some files carry over for completion at the next reboot, thus as to why CCleaner only clears a certain amount of temp files unless it is told to go further. wink

Hopefully Scott has got it figured out?
