rapalas?

It seems to me that the rapalas i have been buying latley are not as durable as the ones in the past. I have had a lot of them run to the sides right out of the package. Or after a fish or two they just do not run true. Are they not made the same way they were in the past or am I just being unlucky? they are to exspensive to be tossing them aside a day after i open them.

I think your just getting one not tuned quite right, plus you can also tune them with a pliers to make the run true, a few casts and you have it, this isnt a bad thing to check every time you switch, plus if your fishing basswith them, tune it to run into and object like a dock post or you also are able to rap the lure around corners etc, dont get discouraged, tuning doesnt take long, the directions come with each one.
