places to fish in Minneapolis ST Paul area?

Howdy folks I am seeking info on places to fish in the Minneapolis ST Paul area..
I will be there installing a new assembly line for Ford and thought I might try to get some fishing in while I am out that way.
I am a Moderator on a Michigan Sportsmen forum and it is a great place for info,,so I thought what better place to look then a Minnesota forum!
PS if anyone ever needs any info about Michigan shoot me a line and I will hook you up with the goods!!

Thanks for stopping by. There are lots of good places to fish in the Minneapolis/ St. Paul area. I'd scroll on down to the Metro Area Lakes & Rivers forum and post a message there. Minnetonka, White Bear, Forest Lake, Calhoun, Harriet, Nokomis, Mississippi River, St. Croix River... The list could go on for a long time. Lots of options, alot could depend on what your looking to fish for.

Depends what you want to fish for but if you're working at the Ford Plant the first and closest option in the Mighty Miss, you're also pretty close to Calhoun and Harriet in Minneapolis which offer a wide variety of fish to go for.
