Finally got out again...

Only had a few hours this afternoon, but a buddy and I went to a nearby spot on one of the many rivers in the area where you can catch northerns...came home with a nice bucket of 9 northerns tonight.

Plenty of ice, not too much slush/snow on top of the ice. A nice relaxing afternoon of fishing. And...some fresh fish for supper.

hows the snowcover looking in the fields up that way? Might try to get up to a farm i know of and call some yotes sunday night.

Thats what i was afraid of. I was hoping the warmer weather would put a good crust on the snow cover up there.

I really hope the forcast is wrong...I'm in western MN right now and really don't want to drive back to sioux falls tomorrow in a blizzard. 8-14". Really? It's starting to get old!!!!!
