I wonder if you can use a rifle for this hunt? I looked but dont see anything regarding type of weapon. The only thing it keeps mentioning is "this is not a special hunt".

Anyone know any of the details for this hunt? Weapons? Duration?

1 Deer shall be taken by any firearm ( including center fire rifles at the discretion of the permittee) that are legal for taking deer during the regular firearms season in a safe and humane manner.

2 This permit is effective subject to the provisions of paragraph 13 and expires at sunset on February 28, 2011. This permit is not transferable to any agent or other individual.

3 There is no limit to the number of deer taken. The permittee is encouraged to take adult deer.

4 Deer may be taken at anytime day or night.Night shooting may included the aid of artificial lights, if prior notification is provided to the DNR conservation officer.

Theres 13 rules in all covering both sides of the permit the landowner signs.
