Looking for more information about turkey hunting and management in Wisconsin? We have moved the Wild Turkey web pages to the newly designed DNR HSOforum at http://new.dnr.wi.gov/Default.aspx?Page=72659862-f510-474f-8f33-0f0d2a0b08d9.

Here you will find information about Spring Turkey Permit Availability, FREE Turkey Hunter Education Clinics, a map of the Spring 2011 Turkey Hunting Zones, and more

Only portions of the DNR's content have been moved to the new site so far, with a goal of completion in spring, 2011. So while work is in progress, our old site is ready and able to serve you for other types hunting information. See more at: http://dnr.wi.gov/org/land/wildlife/hunt/

The 2011 spring turkey permit drawing has been completed and postcards are in the mail to permit winners. Those wishing to check their drawing status on-line may do so on the DNR's On-line Licensing Center (https://jc.activeoutdoorsolutions.com/wi_public/goHome.do). Leftover spring turkey permits are available and will go on sale beginning March 21st. Please check the DNR Wild Turkey HSOforum for more details!
