Lund Rebel 1650

I have a 2000 Lund Rebel tiller model with a hinged door under the splash panel that conceals the battery and gas tank. It has a neat appearance but is a real pain to open and hold to get at the gas tank or hook up the trolling motor. Anyone have a remedy for this short of removing the door?

Lund uses a type of spring lid holder on the pro-v rod lockers. These are probably similar to ones used on childrens toy boxes. So they should be available from most hardware stores and may fix your problem.
