The Department of Natural Resources extends an invite to anyone interested in hunting recruitment and retention to the 2nd Annual Hunting Heritage Conference for an informative and compelling conference dedicated to hunting and those committed to Wisconsin’s hunting tradition. Deadline to RSVP has been extended to February 1, 2011 2nd Annual Hunting Heritage Conference

Feb. 18 and 19, 2011

Stoney Creek Inn – Rothschild, Wis.

What you will learn: Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s conference will highlight current hunting recruitment and retention research, easy-to-follow techniques for hosting a Learn to Hunt event, and best user-friendly practices for the recruitment and retention of hunters.

Expenses covered: As was the case last year, conference expenses for up to two members of your organization will be covered thanks to the Hunting Heritage Partnership Grant from the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. Those covered expenses are:

Friday evening dinner

Saturday lunch

Lodging – (NOTE: Includes ONE double-occupant hotel room to house your two members.
