The shock mount had flipped over and rubbed on the track. A nut had come off and somehow allowed it to flip. The mechanics thought I could still use the track. I guess not all the cogs were as bad as the ones in the photos. Not planning any trips to Yellowstone so I hope it holds up. Where's the icon for fingers crossed.
