Winter Wonderland

Recommended Posts

Christmas in the Winter Wonderland of SE MN. The stone mill is the next door neighbor, the rest are the farm my mom grew up on. I took a walk around the farm to burn off the delicious feasts. I'd appreciate any comments/criticism. I over saturated sum to bring out wanted colors but I can see the snow turns ultra white and I lose the sky. I really wanted the reds to pop but I would also like the sky and snow to look natural. Is this possible?

Cool photos. You could lasso certain areas and just select those areas to saturate, or you could select just specific colors to saturate. I'm sure there are many other tricks, but there are others with much more experience with landscapes and photoshop in general. What really would have helped the most is if you would have had clear blue skies. We had freezing fog over night and the trees were really neat, but I was really disappointed to see the white skiy.
