Leech Lake Walleye Tournament

The dates for this are June 4th and 5th this year. Entry forms or HSOforum registration will be available after the first of the year.

New rules too, limit of 6 fish but only ONE over 26 allowed each day. Interesting....

After talking with Jim Tuller this past week. They are also stretching out the payouts a little further. I believe he said down to 20th place. He said they wanted to see more teams in the mix for 1st place. He also said they wanted to take the pressure off of the much needed big fish. This is why the new fish bag was implemented.

This tournament is now open for registration. Better hurry because this one fills up!

It's filling up quick! Definitely ahead of schedule from last year. I heard around 100 boats registered. If you plan on fishing this and haven't registered yet, I wouldn't wait too much longer.

Yep......called yesterday to make sure they got it. We are the 146th team entered, they expect it to be filled by the end of the week. Kind of a spur of the moment (wasn't planning on fishing tourneys this year), gave Dorothy the option of leech or the master walleye curcuit on pool 3/4. Both the same weekend.

It's a great tournament and run very very well. Plus they put on a real dinner!

Since I fished it last year I got to sign up before it went public. I got my confirmation letter back in January.
