Would using grouse feathers work as a cover scent? Instead of buying the "earth scented" wafers or whatever else you store with your clothes. Once Im done huntin this year Ill wash the duds and then put them in a dry bag with grouse feathers. The feathers will be in a ziploc bag that I punched a bunch of little holes in to let the scent out without having feathers stuck all over me. Itll be a whole lot funner shootin grouse then spending money at the local GM

Hey great idea I would like to try that. Where did you say I could pick up that many Grouse to make this work?
