I agree with what you guys wrote, but I've noticed the deer and turkeys in my area do not mix well, we are usually seeing one or the other and extremely rare we see them together meaning in our field when the turkeys are around we see no deer and when we see deer the turkeys aren't around, don't know why that is, there is really no reason they couldn't be in the field together, my theory is smaller parcels somewhat, the deer don't like having 75 turkeys walking through there usually quiet bedding ground I don't know. Maybe too many birds, I'm not sure but that's the way it is around our area after hundreds of observations. I couldn't get a picture of the two together if I tried, they steer clear of one another.

+1 for my experience. On an evening sit if I see turkeys they're usually early & then I almost always see deer later. I can see deer without seeing turkeys, but if I see turkeys I will almost always see deer. In my experience they are not at the same exact time though.

Turkeys do not disturb or displace deer.I have had 40 turkeys under my tree and a buck in the middle making a scrape this year.I have seen many birds mixed in with deer all the time.Deer or Turkeys do not make one displaced.Since I do not have a huge piece of land to hunt this happens almost every time I'm out hunting. The birds and deer mix. Most times in the evening when the birds are going back to roost.I have the deer coming out to feed.
