shamalex72
Out of the few whitefish that I have seen while spearing, most have come in to a small red and white decoy. Be quick with the spear, they don't sit and stare at the decoy like northerns do.
cat-man
I like smaller spoons below a spinner for whitefish either black/white or all silver in color.
bigpiker
Thanks Shamale & Cat-man for the tips.As far as setting up for a chance at whitefish, do I set up as for northerns and just watch for whitefish to come in? In this case, anywhere on the Whitefish Chain would be as good as any? Thanks again.
