Who owns the deer?

Recommended Posts

No matter how much land you own, lease, manage: all of the wildlife, deer included, are the property of the State of Minnesota. If you are religious you believe in a higher power that has dominion over all. When you pull the trigger or loose an arrow and then tag a deer, you have completed a contract with the State of Minnesota and if you have met all of the requirements of the State of Minnesota, that deer becomes your possesion. You may or may not need to meet a higher standard to satisify you personal beliefs. I am thankful for these conditions. It is hunting to me because I nor anyone else can control the wildlife. Otherwise it is a gamefarm and I am simply harvesting a crop.

I think you are saying you don't like game farms or high fenced hunts for big game well then you are in the right state, North Dakota is battling that out across the border or were you sitting in the That's 70's Show circle, I'm sure you have an angle, but I'm a bit confused.

Agreed, a little context for your rant would be nice.
